Starry Night

New limited edition canvas reproduction of 100 signed and numbered prints, “Starry Night” captures a snowy owl in flight silhouetted  by the stars that make up the “Winter Circle.” The seven stars that form the  Circle are among the brightest stars in the sky. Sirius is the brightest of all stars, Capella is the 6th brightest star, Rigel and Procyon are the 7th and 8th respectively, Aldebaran is the 14th, Pollux the 17th, and Castor the 24th. Betelgeuse, which isn’t part of the Hexagon but is located near its center is the 10th brightest star in the sky but, along with Orion’s Belt, is covered by the owl in this painting.  Image Size is 12 x 17 1/2.  stretched canvas  ready for framing or 20 x 30 Gallery Wrap
